Code series
Which letter belongs to which collection
Every collection of the House issues its own code series, and a code is issued once. The Library's property code LHL-H is the universal key that ties a property across all of them.
Private Island Resorts publishes under the Library's own island series, LHL-I. The two registers match record for record: LHL-I-022 is North Island in both. Codes in this series are issued by the Library; this collection uses them and does not create them.
The sister collections run under their own letters — Private Resorts, Fashion, Luxury, Luxury Lifestyle, Legendary Addresses, Boutique, Safari & Wilderness, Wellness, Adventure & Nature and All-Inclusive. Where a record here also holds a card in one of those, it is shown under Also in the Library.
Retired codes are never reissued. LHL-I-232 was withdrawn when its subject proved not to be an island, and the number stays empty.
The island series is issued by the Library and used here. Of the codes this register uses, the Library has issued and confirmed the first block; the rest are in use on the published site and awaiting confirmation, and are listed as such rather than presented as settled. A code in use that the Library later declines would be retired, not renumbered.
The Library also records a caveat on some rows — a limit, a dispute or a documented criticism. It says nothing about whether a house is trading, and nothing in this register filters on it.
