How an entry is written
Each entry answers the same questions in the same order: where the property is, who else can be on the land, who runs it, how many people it holds, how it is reached, and who it is wrong for.
The who-it-is-not-for section is mandatory. It names at least three kinds of traveller for whom the property is a poor fit, on grounds that are facts in the record rather than matters of taste, and it ends by pointing elsewhere.
Superlatives are replaced by numbers or removed. A property described as extraordinary without a figure attached has not been described.
Where two properties in the register would produce the same sentence, one of the sentences is wrong. Entries are written to be distinguishable, not to be flattering.
