Dellis Cay is an uninhabited cay in the Turks and Caicos, between Providenciales and Parrot Cay, reached by boat. Its history is the reason it is watched: a Mandarin Oriental project with pavilions by Kengo Kuma, Zaha Hadid, Shigeru Ban and others was begun here in the 2000s and abandoned unfinished when the developer collapsed, leaving concrete shells on the beach for more than a decade.

The cay is now announced for revival under Waldorf Astoria, with a published plan of around 175 rooms, suites and residences and an opening stated for 2028. This entry records announcements and the site's history, not a guest experience. Given what happened here before, the register will not treat any date as firm until construction is verifiably complete.

A famous ruin. The abandoned architect pavilions made Dellis Cay a case study in resort development failure, and any revival is measured against that record.
