Navini is a tiny coral island in the Mamanuca group of Fiji, about thirty minutes by boat from Denarau, ringed entirely by its own reef and sandbank — the island can be walked round in ten minutes and its outline shifts with the tide. One property occupies it and no day boats land, which is unusual in these waters.
Ten or eleven bures make up the accommodation — the property's own material gives both figures and the register records the discrepancy. It is family-owned and run without a brand, all-inclusive in practice, and has held the same scale for decades while the Mamanucas developed around it.
No day visitors in a day-trip archipelago. The Mamanucas are worked heavily by boats from Denarau; Navini refuses them, which is the whole product.

And it is wrong for those who need space to walk. And it is wrong for guests who want a spa, a dive centre or evening entertainment. It is wrong, too, for anyone needing a confirmed room type until the inventory conflict is settled. Those wanting Fiji at greater scale should look at Vomo or Kokomo.
