Bvlgari Cave Cay

An Exuma cay announced for Bvlgari, with a marina and no published detail yet.

Full entry · sources recorded · verification stamp pending

Cave Cay lies in the Exumas, the chain of several hundred cays running south-east from Nassau, with the shallow banks on one side and the Exuma Sound on the other. The cay has a natural harbour and an existing marina, and it has been announced for development as a Bvlgari resort — the group's first in the Caribbean and its first island property outside the Indian Ocean.

Opening is stated for 2029. Room counts, villa types and the shape of the property have not been published in verifiable form, and this register carries no figures rather than repeating rumour. The entry exists so the name resolves and the project is tracked from the announcement rather than from the opening.

A natural harbour on a private cay. Cave Cay's marina is the reason the site was chosen and will shape the property more than the room count does.

Announced, not designed. Everything here is a plan. The register will rewrite the entry when there is something to describe.

Who it is not for

Cave Cay is wrong for anyone planning travel — nothing exists yet. It is wrong for guests who want a property with an operating record. And it is wrong for travellers treating announced dates as commitments, which in island development they rarely are. And it is wrong for anyone comparing it against described properties, since there is nothing here to describe. Those wanting the Exumas now should look at Musha Cay, Over Yonder Cay or Fowl Cay.
