The resort occupies a group of linked motus on the Bora Bora barrier reef, reached by boat from the airport, covering around forty-four acres — the largest resort footprint on the lagoon. The Otemanu view is the same one every property here sells; the difference is the ground, which allows a lagoonarium, gardens and a spa on its own islet.
Around ninety villas make up the property, including some of the largest overwater and beachfront accommodation in French Polynesia. The lagoonarium — an enclosed section of reef stocked and monitored — is used for snorkelling and for a small marine programme.
