Milaidhoo is a small island in Baa Atoll, inside the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, reached by seaplane. One resort occupies it, and Hanifaru Bay's manta aggregation is within reach in season. The island is compact, with a house reef close to the beach and a lagoon on the sheltered side.
Around fifty villas, beach and overwater, hold the property, which is Maldivian-owned and independently run rather than branded — a rarity at this level, where almost everything carries an international name. The kitchen leans harder on Maldivian food than most resorts dare, and the service culture is built in-house.
